Introducing my Button-Jointed Keepsake Bears—each one carefully handmade from fabric that holds special meaning to you. Whether it’s clothing from a loved one, baby outfits, or fabric from significant events like weddings, I transform these materials into beautiful, huggable bears that serve as unique and personal tributes to cherished memories.

Each bear can be customised with embroidery of your choice, such as a name, date, or special message. I’ll work closely with you to create a one-of-a-kind keepsake that reflects the essence of your loved one or occasion.

I take great pride in the care and attention to detail that goes into every bear. I use only high-quality materials, and each piece is handmade in my studio, ensuring it has its own unique character and personality.

The standard size is approximately 35cm tall. For best results, I recommend sending:

• 4–6 baby grows (0–6 months)

• 1–4 items of older children’s clothing

• 1–2 adult garments (more can be included upon request)

Each bear is made to order and takes several weeks to complete, resulting in a treasured keepsake you'll cherish for years.

These bears are also a sustainable choice, giving new life to meaningful clothing that might otherwise be stored away or discarded.

While they can be machine washed at 40°C, I recommend gentle hand washing and air drying to preserve their delicate nature. Please avoid tumble drying. Each bear is filled with 100% CE-tested polyester stuffing.

Please note: These keepsake bears are not suitable for children under 14, as they’re made from pre-worn clothing and delicate materials that cannot be CE tested.

Returns & Refunds

I want you to be completely happy with your handmade Memory Bear. If there’s a problem with your order, please get in touch with me as soon as possible to discuss.

Custom orders (made from your clothing) are not eligible for returns or exchanges unless there’s a fault in the workmanship. Non-custom items can be returned in their original condition within 14 days. Once I receive the item, I can offer a refund (minus original postage) or send a replacement—your choice. Return postage is your responsibility, and I recommend keeping proof of postage.

Shipping fees are non-refundable. If you're exchanging a non-custom item, I’ll cover the cost of sending the replacement.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method once I receive and check the returned item.

• Processing time: Each of our Memory Bears is handmade to order, and processing time can take up to four weeks. Once your order is placed, we will provide you with an estimated processing time and keep you updated on the progress of your order.

• Shipping method: I ship all of our Memory Bears using a reliable and tracked shipping service. This ensures that your bear is delivered to you safely and promptly, and allows you to track your shipment online.

• Shipping fees: Shipping fees will be calculated at checkout and will depend on your location and the size and weight of your order.

• Delivery time: Delivery time will depend on your location and the shipping method chosen. Once your order has shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number so that you can follow your bear's journey to your doorstep.

Here are some answers to common questions about the clothing which can be used to make a Memory Bear:

• What types of clothing can be used to make a Memory Bear? A Memory Bear can be made from any type of clothing, such as shirts, dresses, skirts, blouses, jackets, or any other type of fabric item. 

• How much clothing is needed to make a Memory Bear? The amount of clothing needed for a standard size Memory Bear, I recommend providing us with the following;

Baby clothing: 4-6 baby grows, assuming they are approximately 0-6 months. Tiny baby clothes can be incorporated but you would need to send extra items to ensure there's enough fabric to make your bear. 2 tiny baby to 1 babygrow. As a general rule, it is better to send a little too much than not enough.

Older children's clothing: 2-3 items.

Adult clothing: 1-2 items. I can include more items at your request.

• Can the clothing be washed before it is used to make a Memory Bear? I recommend washing the clothing before sending it to us, as this can help to prevent any shrinkage or damage to the clothing. 

• What if the clothing is damaged or stained? Minor damage or stains can often be incorporated into the design of the Memory Bear, but if the clothing is severely damaged or stained, I may need to use alternative sections of the clothing or fabric to create the bear.

• Can the Memory Bear be washed? Yes, the Memory Bear can be washed using a gentle cycle with mild detergent. I recommend avoiding bleach or harsh chemicals, as this can damage the fabric or cause discoloration. Air-drying the bear is also recommended to prevent shrinkage or damage to the stuffing.

• I would appreciate it if you would tell us in a note with the clothes which clothes are your favorite, especially if you are sending more than I recommend, so I can ensure they appear prominently on the finished item.

• Kindly inform us if you prefer a mix of all the clothing items provided. In case you don't require all the items, I will use our discretion to decide which ones to use and send back any unused items. It is essential to let us know if there are certain clothing items that hold special significance or if you have any specific requests regarding the detailing of the Memory Bear. While I will make every effort to fulfill these requests, it may not always be possible to do so.
